SUNNI NYKOHL

Sunni Nykohl, a Greensboro, NC native, is a storyteller, creative, and entrepreneur whose work reflects both faith and flair. A licensed cosmetologist and former featured makeup artist, she has long been celebrated for her artistry in natural hair design. Outside of beauty, she co-owned Lil Bougie Boutique, served as president of Curvieher Social, and has partnered with multiple companies on promotional campaigns for clothing and skincare brands.

A pastor’s daughter who grew up immersed in church life, Sunni first found her literary voice in the romance and drama genres with her 2017 debut, Seduction of a Savage. Over time, she felt called toward a deeper purpose—using her gift of storytelling to inspire and uplift through Christian fiction. Encouraged by family and affirmed by her faith, she now creates stories that spotlight resilience, love, and grace in ways readers can truly relate to.

Her latest release, Sis. Tammy’s Wigs, marks her debut in religious fiction and serves as both a heartfelt reflection of her spiritual roots and a bold step into her creative calling. A mother of three who enjoys music, movies, and crafting, Sunni continues to write across genres—inviting readers into worlds that entertain, encourage, and inspire.
